SOIL, ROCK AND CONCRETE TESTING

We offer geotechnical testing of soil that includes index tests like:

• Grain Size Distribution (Sieve and Hydrometer Analysis),

• Consistency and Plasticity (Atterberg Limits), Volume/Moisture (Specific Gravity, Moisture Content, Unit Weight, Relative Densities),

• Swelling & Expansion Index. 

• Advanced testing include 1-D Consolidation and Triaxial Testing (UU, CU & CD).

SPECIAL MATERIALS TESTING

We provide testing of any type of Activated Carbon, Catalysts and Catalyst Carriers (like Zeolites), Ceramics, Polymers, Pharmaceutical Powders, and Nano-structural Materials.

We use the BET method, which is the gold standard and internationally accepted method to measure the specific surface area of solid materials, powders, and porous structures.

SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATIONS

Our subsurface investigation capabilities include the use of portable drill rigs and hollow-stem augers. We perform Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) per ASTM D1586. 

To mitigate drilling through consolidated or hard soils/rock, we use specialized drill bits. To mitigate running sands, we use hollow-stem auger plugs and potable water in the casing. 

We have the tools capable of drilling through challenging formations without injecting potential contaminants into the subsurface.
